Alan Cheslow
Alan was one of the original users of myHTPC before joining Meedio as VP of Marketing in 2004 to launch the company and its first products to market. Alan has 15 years of experience in the software industry as a programmer, architect, marketing manager,
and product manager with world-class organizations including the IBM Software Group, Hitachi Telecom, Roadway Express, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Mr. Cheslow
is currently a Senior Strategic Program Manager with Intel where he is in charge of providing leadership, direction and development of Intel's strategy for
Digital Home engagements with Microsoft.
Dr. Vincent F. Koosh
Dr. Koosh currently serves as a design engineer at Teradyne, an automatic test equipment company for the semiconductor industry. Prior to this, he was a founding member of Silicon Group, a company that developed high speed chips for the telecommunications industry. Dr. Koosh has also conducted research on superconducting magnets for high speed trains at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He is a member of several national honor societies in Engineering and Physics and has published a book chapter as well as several papers in peer reviewed technical journals and conferences. Dr. Koosh holds several patents including patents which are licensed by Cyrano Sciences, an Electronic Nose company that produces various systems for chemical sensing. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Caltech, the California Institute of Technology, where he specialized in integrated circuits, neural networks, and microelectromechanical systems and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He is also an avid mountain biker, hiker, and traveler in addition to his interests in gaming and home automation.
Scott Leonard
Scott is the founder of CEBotics LLC, and the creator of Meedio Housebot. This creation came out of Scott's desire to have an easy to use, flexible automation & control system including PDA based remotes in his own home. He is currently CTO for Consolidated Search Services and was previously a software engineer with DoubleClick and DCA/Attachmate where he developed a web based ASP Advertising Management System among other responsibilities and accomplishments. He has over 20 years of VC++, C++, C, internet and database development. In addition to his passion for home automation and control, Scott also enjoys spending time with his family, water sports, gaming and movies.
Dr. Sergio Pissanetzky
Dr. Pissanetzky retired after a rewarding career as an Entrepreneur, Professor, Research Scientist and Consultant. He was the founder of Magnus Software Corporation, where he developed specialized applications for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Particle Accelerator industries. Dr. Pissanetzky has held professorships in Physics at Texas A&M University, University of Buenos Aires, University of Cordoba and the University of Cuyo. He has also held positions as a Research Scientist with the Houston Advanced Research Center, as Director of the Computer Center at the Atomic Energy Commission of Argentina and as a Scientific Consultant at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Dr. Pissanetzky holds several US and European patents, is the author of one book and numerous peer reviewed technical papers. He has served as Member of the International Editorial Board of the "International Journal for Computation in Electrical and Electronic Engineering" and as a Member of the International Advisory Committee of the International Journal "Metodos Numericos para Calculo y diseno en Ingenieria". Dr. Pissanetzky earned his Ph.D. in Physics at the Balseiro Institute, University of Cuyo.
Margaret Rosato
Margaret has worked as Director of Finance for Maverick Recording Company, a joint venture label established by Madonna and Warner Bros. Records. While at Maverick she evaluated and made recommendations on artist and joint venture deals and renegotiations, liaised with corporate on financial planning, oversaw daily A/P and A/R functions with corporate and oversaw the development and management of a software application program integral to managing the company's marketing costs. Before Maverick, Margaret was in Business Development for Universal Music Group. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Applied Science, Magna Cum Laude from UCLA and also studied at The Sorbonne, France. She is an active member of Phi Beta Kappa and the UCLA Alumni Association. Her interests include traveling, health & fitness and investment.
David Skinner
David is a Managing Director of Decision Strategies, the leading international consulting firm in the field of decision management. His professional interests focus around business management, organizational learning, strategic leadership, decision quality, and applying practical approaches for making important decisions.
Mr. Skinner has led a wide range of major consulting assignments over the past ten years developing a broad knowledge and understanding of a variety of industries and their business needs. His assignments have included strategy development, evaluation and implementation, R&D portfolio management, capital investment decision analysis, exploration bidding and evaluation, litigation analysis, safety and health risk analysis, new ventures analysis, and evaluation of transportation systems. He also teaches
decision analysis at Rice University in the Executive MBA program. David is the author of Introduction to Decision Analysis, now in its 2nd edition. He is also an avid home automation fan and enjoys his digital media collection at home and on the sea.
